Build a Biltong Box - Stage 2
You will also need two 2100 mm lengths of 18 mm x 18 mm planed timber for the construction of the Biltong Box. These make it easier to screw the Biltong Box together and also form legs to stand the box off the floor.
At the time of creating these plans, a 2100mm x 18mm x 18mm length of planed square timber was available from B&Q for £0.41.
Cut 460 mm (E) from one piece of the 18 mm x 18 mm and then cut the rest of that length in half (Legs). Fix (E) at 12 mm from one end of Side B and the two half pieces as shown;
To attach the timber to the MDF, drill through the MDF and screw through into timber. If you are using countersunk screws, remember to countersink your drill holes before assembly.
Repeat with Side D and the other 2100 mm length of 18 mm x 18 mm.
